Kent Hack Enough, Kent State University's annual hackathon, brings the passion and innovation behind hackathons to the Midwest. With over 150 participants, Kent Hack Enough will be the largest hackathon in Ohio. This hackathon is an opportunity for your students to show their drive and talents as over 10 schools gather to "hack" a great time building software and hardware projects in a weekend. Companies from inside Ohio and beyond will be sponsoring the event, providing fun "swag" for students, as well as a chance to get resumes in front of recruiters. Top prizes will include cash and exposure to top companies.

The event will be October 18th through the 20th, in KSU's main library. Admission is completely free for students, and travel costs will be reimbursed. Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome. High school students are also welcome, with parental permission. Check out the Kent Hack Enough Website for more information!

  • Usefullness
Is the hack practical? Is it something people would actually use? Does it fulfill a real need people have?
  • Polish / Design
Is the user experience smooth? Does everything appear to work? Is it beautifully designed?
  • Technical Difficulty
Is the hack technically interesting or difficult? Is it just some lipstick on an API, or were there real technical challenges to surmount?
